CURVES IN ALL THE RIGHT PLACES
Set in the Adelaide Hills with views of the city and the country surrounding them, the owners of this property were keen to capitalise on the scenery and embrace it in the design of their new kitchen.
When discussing their needs with JAG Kitchens the brief was to create a functional, beautiful kitchen as a ‘hub’ for the family to gather and enjoy their passion for cooking and entertaining while taking in the view.
The result is a fantastic stylish design with a central sweeping curved bench incorporating the cooktop and an additional bench space offering a breakfast bar or a place to enjoy a quiet drink while watching the activities in the kitchen.
The cooking and preparation areas face out onto the views with generous bench space and storage areas incorporated into the design using overhead cabinets and wall units.
The seamless curves of the HI-MACS Arctic Granite benchtops bring together the ‘Sting Red’ feature panel and the red airstrip tiles following the curve in the splashback giving a flowing and uncluttered finish.
The design flexibility of HI-MACS is a perfect fit for the design of this kitchen with its non-porous, thermoforming features enabling the curved edges, seamless joins and waterfall ends.
